EUR LUMOMAT launches “Excellence Scholarships” for its Master’s degree in chemistry

Selection criteria: A ranking will be made according to the student’s academic record: the selection of files for integration into Master 1 currently used in the Universities of Angers, Rennes and Nantes will be applied. The files retained will therefore be those of the students of Licence 3 having obtained a minimum mark of 12/20 in the third year of the licence. The rank and CV will also be taken into account as well as the letter of motivation written when applying for a Master’s degree. The Training Office, composed of the three persons in charge of the LUMOMAT master’s degree in chemistry, will receive the applications via the EUR Project Manager (Noémie Barbot), which will be presented to the Training Commission for validation.

Part of the grants will be focused on excellence and part on attractiveness. The distribution of the number of grants between the two categories will be done each year by the three educational managers.

Excellence scholarships for students from the three university sites Angers, Nantes and Rennes:

Awarding of scholarships amounting to 3k€ (2 * 1,5k€): a first payment will be made upon arrival in master. The second payment will be made at the end of the S3 provided that the student continues in the LUMOMAT Master 2 and does not have to repeat the year.

Scholarship for excellent students for off-site students :

M1: Granting of scholarships of 3k€ (2 * 1,5k€): a first payment will be made upon arrival in the master. The second payment will be made at the end of S3 provided that the student continues in the LUMOMAT Master 2 and does not repeat the year.

M2 : The candidates integrating the training from M2 will be able to receive after an identical selection process a grant of 1,5k€ at the beginning of the academic year.
